About the role
Work on real automotive embedded systems at Himalayan Performance Labs. This internship is for candidates who want hands-on exposure to electronics, microcontrollers, vehicle communication and product development rather than classroom-only projects.
What you will work on
- STM32-based embedded systems and firmware
- Custom OBD hardware for diagnostics, flashing and data logging
- CAN and K-Line automotive communication interfaces
- Schematics and PCB design in KiCad
- SPI, UART, I2C, USB and other peripheral interfaces
- Hardware debugging using multimeters, oscilloscopes and logic analysers
- Bluetooth / Wi-Fi integration for connected devices
- Prototype testing with real ECUs and vehicles
- Bootloaders, device security and production-oriented embedded design
Who should apply
- ECE, EEE, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, CSE or related students / fresh graduates
- Comfortable with basic electronics and able to read a schematic
- Basic C / C++ programming knowledge
- Experience with at least one MCU platform such as STM32, ESP32, AVR or PIC
- Able to read datasheets and learn independently
- Strong interest in automotive electronics and embedded hardware
- Available to work from Solan or willing to relocate if selected
Automotive experience is not mandatory. Strong fundamentals, curiosity and the ability to build and debug things matter more than prior automotive work.
